My favourite brunch spot in Bungay

So i’m writing this on a Sunday morning whilst watching Legally Blonde 2 – I literally only watched the first one a week ago, despite it being released in 2001, oops. Why didn’t anyone ever tell me how fabulous they were, it is making me feel like a 15 year old again and reminding me I really need to colour my hair and wear more pink.
So I really wanted to write this post for those local to myself on the Norfolk/Suffolk border and also for those who are planning to visit. I have been visiting The Earsham Street Cafe in Bungay for over a year now and it has never failed to be delicious.Β

The cafe is only a 10 minute walk from my house and this little foodie haven was an important place for us when we were buying our house this time last year. We would visit the show home and then go for brunch afterwards to discuss the pros and cons of buying our house and after choosing our interiors when we did finally decide to buy we went for a full english to mull over our choices. We exchanged contracts, signed on the dotted line and you guessed it, visited this beaut of a cafe. Isn’t it lovely when somewhere you love holds sentimental value too, it makes me think of how far i’ve come everytime I visit.
The cafe itself does breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and sometimes special evenings with themed dinners such as ‘Eat local’ or ‘Starter and Dessert night’. The interior is what I would describe as country chic and is lovely, fresh and clean. There is also a beautiful outside area you can choose to eat in and is covered by a clear roof so even if it looks as though it is going to rain you are safe to sit outside! The cafe welcome dogs too so if you are on a long walk with your pooch and fancy a stop, pop in. They also serve some delicious cakes and pastries to eat in or take-away, pefect for a little treat to take home for later!
If you ever find yourself in Bungay be sure to visit Earsham Street, as well as the cafe there are many other gorgeous places to shop; Interiors, weddings, food and clothing are all more than catered for in serious style.

If you follow me on Instagram (@Justhollieblog) you will have seen pics of my breakfasts at this lovely little place and I do hope you can try it for yourselves πŸ™‚ xox
