If you follow me on Instagram, you will know by now that I was lucky enough in October last year to be chosen to be an ambassador for the gorgeous British clothing brand, Boden. When I received the email inviting me to be a part of the #BodenBrandPartner clan I literally couldn’t believe it! I don’t have the biggest following on socials and wouldn’t really call myself an ‘influencer’ by any means, but actually it turns out this was exactly one of the reasons I found myself in the situation at all. Boden and also a PR company of sorts called Zyper (I’ll link them here if you’d like to know more) got together to find women who, like me, were true brand fans and actually had passion for their clothes – sounds simple really doesn’t it?! In a world where there are lots of people online promoting any products they can get for free, it was nice to be recognised as someone who genuinely wanted to share fab finds with their followers. Yes, we as brand ambassadors for Boden get to choose a few pieces for free once a month and that is beyond anything I ever hoped for when I started Just Hollie Blog, but actually, I would’ve bought half of it anyway…
So that’s what this post is really – me sharing my favourite pieces from the new season collection of my favourite brand Boden. Enjoy!
PS. I do have a personalised link which I’ll pop below, meaning you can get a discount on most things on the Boden website, and they’ll know you found them through me. I don’t get paid or anything like that – it just proves to them it’s worth giving me freebies each month I guess! Enjoy the discount and I hope you like the luxurious feeling of wearing Boden as much as I do.
And without further babbling from me, these are my favourites for the next couple of months. Transition pieces if you will.
Norwich Button Back Jumper – Milkshake
I have this jumper and there are a couple of reasons I love it:
– It’s called the Norwich jumper. Need I say more, I am truly representing my roots up here in the highlands.
– It’s pink, and pink is everywhere right now. I’ve never actually worn pink too much despite being a very feminine person, however this hue is so perfect for Spring (which in my head is only a few weeks away LOL).
– The detail. I love a jumper with large cuffs like this, I find it very flattering. The back has really nice gold button detailing at the neck too which is a bit fancy.
You will be seeing this on the ‘gram v.soon! Also comes in mustard and navy and is £70 before discount.
Lincoln Cotton Frill Jumper
This one also made its way into my basket recently and it is now my #1 favourite jumper for a day which is a little milder so I can wear it by itself. How cute are those frills, I feel super chic in an Olivia Palermo effortless kinda way when I wear this. It too has little gold buttons at the back of the neck for an added feel of luxe – Boden have the best eye for detail on their garments.
This also comes in the milkshake pink colour (pictured above on the Norwich style) and I am soooo tempted to get it in that colourway too. This one is £75 before discount and I can assure you – worth.every.penny.
The Silk Shirt – Ivory And Navy, Scattered Spot
Nothing can make you feel on top of your game at work like a new outfit to sass into the office with, and this shirt is just the ticket. Boden are absolutely all over the office attire game at the moment with some lush shirts and dresses which can easily take you from the boardroom to the cocktail bar. I particularly like this one as it could be worn with a smart pencil skirt or equally would look good with jeans and converse at the weekend.
Made of 100% silk and with luxe details such as the front placket covering the buttons, this is not your ordinary shirt – but it’s Boden, so what would you expect? Oh and if spots aren’t for you this comes in 8 colours so you’ll be sure to nail that presentation feeling chic in no time. £110 before discount.
Ivy Dress – Black Country Posy
This dress is just perfection and there’s not much more to say about it than that. You could dress it up, dress it down and make it work for any occasion. I would either wear it with bare legs and fancy hair for a winter wedding or with thick tights, my equestrian boots and a fedora for countryside chic. Can you tell I want it? Watch this space…
£98 before discount.
Cavenham Ankle Boots – Black
My final piece I wanted to include in this post was always a certainty – these boots are SO nice. I find good biker type boots so hard to come by – some are too industrial looking and actually look like you’ve just stepped off a Harley and some are just plain ugly. These however are anything but – they’re simple and chic and would go with a surprising amount of outfits. They feature a padded lining so I can only imagine how comfy they would be, and Boden shoes are always so well made and worth the price tag. The perfect transition shoe, these would work just as well with a spring dress and tights as they would jeans and a coat. Everyone needs that classic pair of shoes they can rely on and bring out year after year, and these are most definitely it.
£160 before any discounts.
